As a group of keen animal lovers, we couldn’t resist a trip to the zoo for one of our planning meetings. Here’s what we got up to…
Earlier this year during one of the planning stages of launching the foundation, the team booked to meet at Chester Zoo. While this all sounds like fun, we were indeed there for business and the majority of the day was spent discussing all things Banner Foundation. BUT once the working day drew to a close, we allowed ourselves a little wander around the animal enclosures to spot some of our favourite animals.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and while the location was a cheeky novelty for us all, it was also incredibly inspiring. Chester Zoo itself does brilliant charity work and being in such a fantastic environment really gave us food for thought. And speaking of food, The Oakfield at Chester Zoo certainly provided the best working lunch any of us have had!
All in all, the trip was a success! Some of our exciting upcoming plans and a lot of what you see on our website today was all cooked up during this trip and we can’t wait to share more with you soon.
