This Back to School, we’re turning everyday plastic bag purchases into meaningful change across the UK.
From 1st June to 30th September 2026, participating schoolwear retailers will donate the proceeds from their plastic bag sales to support two important causes: The Brain Tumour Charity and the Banner Foundation.
A simple idea with real impact
Schoolwear for Good is a collective campaign bringing together schoolwear retailers across the UK to make a meaningful difference during the Back to School season.By turning everyday purchases into charitable contributions, we can create a powerful shared impact without adding complexity to day-to-day business. It’s simple, visible, and something both schools and parents can feel good about.
Together, we’re aiming to raise £50,000.
Small amounts, multiplied across retailers nationwide, can create real change. By working together across the Back to School season, we can turn a simple everyday purchase into meaningful support for two important causes.
Campaign period: 1st June – 30th September 2026

How it works
Taking part is straightforward. Retailers simply pledge the proceeds from their plastic bag sales during the campaign period and use the campaign materials provided to help bring the initiative to life in store.

Donate everyday proceeds
Commit the proceeds from your plastic bag sales during the campaign period.
Step 3
Use campaign materials
Display in-store POS and share the campaign with your customers using the provided assets.
Taking part is simple. Just set aside the proceeds from your plastic bag sales during the campaign period, there’s no change to your existing processes, just a small action that contributes to something bigger. Together, these contributions will help support the incredible work of The Brain Tumour Charity and the Banner Foundation, helping to fund vital research, provide support to families, and make a meaningful difference where it’s needed most.
